BRENTON
RAGLESS presents 2010 SOUTH AUSTRALIAN ALMANAC
With the blessing
of Keith Martyn, and the valued help of Peacock Publications and
many other locals, Channel 9's weekday weather presenter, Brenton
Ragless, presents the 2010, 25th South Australian Almanac.
For the first
time, the Almanac has been printed in full-colour, giving a vibrant
new look and feel.
"One
of the things I enjoyed the most in preparing the 2010 edition
was looking back at the past 24 issues – most of them I remember
buying for dad and grandpa when I was growing up. They followed
the Almanac religiously for the gardening tips and the list of
feature events."
"I
have made my best effort to capture some of the key events, projects
and services we have to look forward to in 2010."
"I
am grateful to the many media and marketing advisors from each
of the departments, organisations, associations, clubs and sporting
bodies represented in the Almanac for their interest in supplying
me with photos and information."
The 2010
Almanac includes:
- Monthly
calendar complimented with moon phases, sunrise/sunset and tide
times
- Monthly gardening and fishing features
- Shows, field days and farmers markets
- Music,
culture and the arts
- Food
and wine festivals
- Zoos news
- Air, land and sea news (major transport projects in 2010)
- South Australia Museum (key events at our state's museums and
heritage centres)
- Extreme elements (weather records and important new information
on bushfire safety and heat waves)
South
Australia's 2010 Almanac can be purchased from the Channel Reception
for only $8.95.
