Having Trouble Receiving Channel 9?

Channel 9 Adelaide (NWS9) is owned by WIN Corporation, the parent company of WIN Television and is an affiliate of the Nine Network.

NWS9 was the first commercial television station to go to air in South Australia and we will celebrate 50 years of broadcasting in 2009. We're a proudly parochial station, dedicated to keeping all of its operations here in Adelaide and delivering a locally produced news and current affairs service.

Local lifestyle/travel program, Postcards was created by Nine in Adelaide in October 1995. Fourteen years on, the program has produced over 500 episodes and won TWO National Tourism Awards and Four State Tourism Awards, automatically placing the program in the South Australian Tourism Awards Hall of Fame.

Other local programs and events on Nine include Out of the Blue, Out of the Ordinary, Building Ideas, Sumptuous, Feeling Good, The Crows Club Champion and the Credit Union Christmas Pageant.

Nine Adelaide won the 2008 official ratings survey and delivered seven of the year's Top 10 programs, including the Top 5 shows in its core 25-54 demographic. (Weeks 7 - 48, Excluding Easter) Source: OzTam.
