The first stop on the world cycling calendar, the Santos Tour Down Under kicks off the cycling year in exhilarating style. The Santos Tour Down Under invites the whole state to the party, by taking the race through South Australian regions. The race typically starts and concludes with exciting Adelaide city street circuits, with Stage 1-5 being held in regional South Australia. The Santos Tour Down Under provides a significant contribution to the state's tourism industry and showcases the attractions of South Australia to the world through global television coverage.

Australia Day in the City
Thursday 26 January, 2012
Celebrate our National day by lining up on North Terrace this year from 6pm for the huge Australia Day street parade and then head to Elder Park from 7pm for the free concert featuring Ricki Lee and Stan Walker.  There loads of entertainment for the family to enjoy including a spectacular fireworks display.

Civic Park Spectacular

The City of Tea Tree Gully is bringing you a family concert event at Civic Park in February featuring ARIA Award winner Jessica Mauboy as the headline act.  This is a free entry event and starts from 1pm until 10pm – with lots of music and entertainment on the main stage all day for the entire family to enjoy including the huge finale, a fireworks spectacular brought to you by Adelaide's Channel 9.

Cellar Door Wine Festival
24 – 26 February 2012
Wine enthusiasts can explore 12 iconic South Australian wine regions and enjoy unlimited tastings from more than 150 wineries from the convenience of one location, the Adelaide Convention Centre in the heart of the city. Showcasing their wares will be a collection of producers of some of the yummiest food in South Australia, and at our Regional Farmers Market, visitors will be able to indulge themselves in all sorts of barbecue temptations, platters of regional produce and fresh salads.
